At 67, Paulette Mauceri loves her 370 Nissan Z purchased from Planet Nissan
Paulette Mauceri, 67, purchased a 2010 Nissan 370 from Planet Nissan and adds that the car makes here feel like she is 25 again. She is shown with her sales consultant Sal Gutierrez at the dealership situated at 5850 Centennial Center Blvd., in the northwest valley.
At the age of 67, Paulette Mauceri is all about having fun and driving nice cars.
A 48 year resident of Las Vegas and the grandmother of three girls, the energetic author Mauceri drives a red 2010 370 Z sports car convertible purchased from Planet Nissan at 5850 Centennial Center Blvd.
“It was love at first-sight,” said Mauceri, who is in the process of writing a novel after working as research scientist. “They made it such an appealing offer. Their reputation is impeccable. I came in here knowing what I wanted and they were there to help. Several members of our family has also purchased cars here.”
The 370 Z is a powerful car with a 332 horsepower, 3.7 liter engine and a seven-speed automatic transmission. Needless to say, anyone would love owning a 370Z.
“It’s just a dream,” said Mauceri, who also models. “I go to the coast a lot including Monterey. I travel all over the country.
“I just point the car and it goes. I’m at 85 before I know it. In town, I will get 18-19 miles per gallon and I can get as much as 32 miles per gallon on the highway.”
Mauceri has owed several high end vehicles in the past including a Cadillac Escalade, a CTS Cadillac, two Jaguars, a 280 Z 2+2, 1935 Ford Roadster, MG TD and a Mercedes Benz.
“I traded my black ‘06 350 SLK hard top convertible Mercedes Benz for the 370 Z,” said Mauceri. “I really like the way the 370 sits. It’s very solid and very tight. I feel very safe in the car.
“Even though the car is a convertible, it is very quiet. In fact, my hardtop Mercedes was noisier than the 370 Z. When I get in it, I feel like I’m 25 again.”
Mauceri has now purchased two vehicles from Planet Nissan. In total, she and her family has purchased five vehicles from the dealership.
“What they sell is top-notch,” she said adding that she bought the 370 Z right off the showroom floor. “They stand by what they sell and they do what they say they’re going to do. I could go anywhere and came here because I am taken care of.
“My sales consultant Sal Gutierrez even calls me at home to see when I want to bring it in for service. I would not go anywhere else when buying a car or having it serviced. People want to be taken care of, and the customer service here is exceptional. They never forget you, and I like that.”
Planet Nissan General Manager Sam Amer said the dealership has a strong following as evidenced by the fact the store sells about 420 cars a month.
“Paulette is one-of-a-kind,” Amer said of Mauceri. “In fact, if she was in the car business, she would sell at least 30 cars a month.”
